Description

The requirement is to perform the metal deposition trials, developing the process parameters, assessing the quality of the deposit, delivering samples for further assessment, and a delivering a written report with the analysis and results. The main objective is to achieve a "defect-free" deposition and to identify the most relevant process parameters for each technique. The scope of this contract is on direct metal deposition trials. The full scope is divided into two sub-sections: scope 1: Wire Laser Deposition, scope 2: Laser-Assisted Cold Spray.
