Description

Kent and Medway CCGs wish to procure communication support for the Kent and Medway Sustainability and Transformation Programme.

Over the last year, the NHS, social care and public health in Kent and Medway have been working together to plan how we will transform health and social care services to meet the changing needs of local people. This work is being progressed through the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) for Kent and Medway. The driving force behind this partnership is to set out and deliver positive changes to services that will ensure the residents of Kent and Medway have the right care available for decades to come.

Core to the model is the philosophy of health and care services working together to promote and support independence, utilising statutory, voluntary and where appropriate the independent sector to deliver the right care, in the right place, at the right time. Our transformation plan will bring a profound shift in where and how we deliver care. It builds on conversations held with local people about the care they want and need and has the patient at its heart.

The CCGs wish to build their internal communications and engagement capacity to support the work of the STP and provide a complete end-to-end overview of communications and engagement, working with and drawing on internal resources to manage the day to day elements of the process. This tender seeks consultancy assistance in accordance with the services described inAppendix A to the Invitation to Tender document.

The selected provider communications team will provide support until December 31 2018 and handover to an internal team once established. An option for an extension to 31 March 2018 may be available if required.

Full details are provided in the Invitation to Tender document and Appendix A - Project Background and Required information for Bidders. Please see the Attachments Section.
