Description

King's College London wishes to establish a Contract to support and collaborate with research teams in Kenya and Mozambique to use human-centred design approaches to develop and prototype potential solutions to improve the mental health outcomes of adolescent girls during pregnancy and the year after birth. The supplier will lead the practical implementation of a human-centred design approach by providing materials, training, and support to research teams in Kenya and Mozambique to collect insights, develop and prototype potential solutions, and create a set of tools/materials to support the implementation of a pilot study of the selected solution.

The key responsibilities of the supplier are:
a. Train the teams in Kenya and Mozambique in the implementation of human-centred design techniques
b. Manage the implementation of the human-centred design methodology
c. Support the research team during the design process
d. Undertake desk research to assess resources for mental health care provision
e. Oversee the analysis of qualitative interviews
f. Lead and conduct prototyping phases
g. Create a set of tools/materials to support implementation
h. Providing light-touch guidance and advisory support to the team over the course of the pilot (coaching, troubleshooting, support solution refinement)
