Description

Syxsense is a cloud-based vulnerability patch management system which allows for the Council's windows endpoint devices to receive 3rd party application critical security updates across the internet. It has been used to manage the Council's endpoint security posture for application-based vulnerabilities since 2019. It had been envisaged that some of the authorities existing new ICT systems could potentially be used to replace this system, however after thorough testing of these systems they are currently not fit for purpose and therefore the requirement for Syxsense remains.
