Description

The Trust is seeking to enter an overall five-year contract, three-year initial period, with options to extend for 2 x 12-month periods (subject to satisfactory performance), with a single supplier who will demonstrate technical competency and best value for money in relation to the Trust requirements.

The tender has an overarching specification relating to sustainability, range service and account management. The primary objective is to establish a quick and easy way for schools to access a wide range of school supplies they need to operate their school on a day-to-day basis.

The Trust is looking to go to tender for supplier(s) that are able to:
• Have a wide range of products and supplies available which are needed in a school setting.
• Offer choice in the buying process and help schools to find operational efficiencies and data integration improvements to reduce to cost of purchasing (i.e., placing orders and invoice management);
• Have strong social values and ethical supply practices in place.
• Are carbon conscious and have streamlined and safe delivery processes.
• Have excellent supply chain resilience and governance practices
