Description

Upskilling teams that deliver community forensic support to people with learning disabilities and/or autism across Midlands and East of England: the development of a learning disability forensic essentials manual and coaching circles to support local delivery.

The primary objective of this procurement is to complete the two identified outputs which are;

1. The development of a training manual covering essential forensic knowledge in the format of a number of topics that would be useful for anyone involved in specifying, developing or delivering a forensic service. These modules will assist CCG's, specialist trusts and service managers to develop a specialist function to deliver this support in their locality and will also support the development of an understanding of this workforce and successfully planning for the future

2. The provision of training around the essential clinical skills contained within the essential forensic topics. This is to be delivered to groups of trusts in a coaching circle format that would facilitate any further "train the trainer" approach needed locally to cascade the knowledge into the designated workforce.
