The RRS Discovery vessel is subject to Classification Society regulations to remain seaworthy and annual refits are undertaken to ensure they remain in class. As part of the vessel's routine maintenance and survey regime Number 3 engine/generator will be overhauled and the relevant parts presented to the vessel's Classification
