Description

This Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Innovation Fund is being commissioned by North of England Commissioning Support Unit (NECS) for and on behalf of NHS Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
NHS Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees CCG wish to carry out an innovation stimulation process in the field of mental health and learning disabilities. The process will allow organisations from across all sectors to access funding for a 12 month period to test initiatives which will support the CCG in attaining the outcomes they wish to achieve for people with a mental health condition and or a learning disability. Below are the objectives which the CCG are trying to affect positive change within:
Reduce the number of people under the age of 75 years dying as a result of respiratory disease.
Reduce the number of people with serious mental illness dying before the age of 75 years.
Increase the number of people who are supported to manage their conditions themselves.
Support people with the psychological impact of long term conditions in order to prevent hospital admissions.
Increase the number of people from BME communities accessing community mental health services and psychological therapies.
Reduce the number of people being admitted to hospital with mental health disorders
Improve the transition of children and young people from CAMHS into Adult mental health services.
Reduce the length of time pe...ating competency against specified criteria. Qualified providers will be expected to deliver their initiatives under the NHS Standard Contract. Please note that NHS Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees CCG will accept all applications with the following exclusions;
Subsidising core activities - for example: delivery of an existing service; idea or schemes that duplicate existing initiatives or activities, idea/schemes which are covered via GMS, PMS, Enhance Service contracts.

A bidder event will be held on Monday 10 August 2015 between 13.00pm and 17:00pm at North of England Commissioning Support, Teesdale House, TS17 6BL. Bidders will be provided with an overview of the tender documentation and procurement process. Further information regarding registration for this event can be located within Document 1 of the tender documentation.
NECS is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with organisations. Accordingly, all communications and submissions will be conducted via the In-Tend portal.
