Description

he LGA invites Tenders for the provision of Retail and Office Cat A Accommodation - Layden House Refurbishment at Layden House, 76-86 Turnmill Street, London, EC1M 5LG.
The proposed development is the internal and external continuous single phase refurbishment of the building, with extensive revision to elevation treatment including projecting extension to boundary line. This consists of the following:
- Strip B1 out back to shell and core
- Infills to North and South façade floorplates
- Extension of the existing 5th floor eastwards flush with the façade
- Full CAT A fit-out
- Renewal of the east (front) façade
- Change of use of ground floor & basement from B1 office to A1/A3 retail and restaurant use
- New plant throughout, possible retention of the existing chillers
- New lift cars
- Create new areas on the 6th floor- this is commercial space to the north of the existing plant and & roof garden to South.
- Extension to the rear of the building over the Turks Head Yard from ground floor up to level 3.
