Description

Dudley MBC is looking to commission a creative and experienced provider who we can work in partnership to engage with children, young people and their families to find out what it is like for them to live and work in Dudley. We want to get to the heart of the child's and their family's journey and be able to report back this journey using modern, technologically, and up to date formats which will help inform and shape service development and delivery and provides an additional layer to our current levels of data. We are looking for this to be a creative, qualitative, storytelling piece of work which goes deeper and further than previous, traditional consultation approaches.

The focus is upon all children, young people, and families in Dudley but with a particular lens upon Start for Life, Family Hubs, Child Friendly Dudley, school readiness, those with SEND, pregnancy and those living in poverty. We want to commission a provider who can use creative methods of engagement which are inclusive and appropriate for these groups and be delivered across a variety of settings.

We will require a series of reports to be produced which includes a robust interpretation of the data gathered and highlights next steps and recommendations on how the conversations started can be maintained and developed. We want to ensure that this is the start of continuous conversations with the people of Dudley, in particular those who are least often heard.
