Description
Ashford Borough Council are inviting suitably qualified contractors to tender for the construction of a two storey side extension under the Disabled Adaptation works to a council owned property. The works will consist of constructing a two storey extension with a pitched roof to match into the existing structure using a traditional method of construction, as well as carrying out some alteration work to the existing building and the provision of a hardstanding, including other minor external works.
The work is programmed to be an 12 week contract and undertaken between October 2022 and February 2023 and should be resourced appropriately.
The start and end dates as stated in this notice are provisional at this stage and maybe subject to change.
You would be required to provide minimum two technical references, one of which should be from a local authority where you have undertaken a similar type of work over the last 2 years and where possible for a disabled or vulnerable person.
