Description
Lewisham Council is seeking a provider to deliver a resettlement support service for refugee families as part of the Home Office's current refugee resettlement schemes.
The service will include, but is not limited to:
- Pre-arrival preparation with local services and community groups
- Initial reception services for the refugees including "meet and greet" at the airport, a welcome pack and an initial orientation
- Orientation services including support to register for local health, education, ESOL and benefits services
- Ongoing support over 12 months to integrate service users into the community and to build service users' skills, moving towards independence and step-down
- Support for families stepped down through a drop-in centre
