Description

The London Borough of Bromley ("the Council") is seeking bids for provision of Travel Training for Young People who have Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) to become confident independent travellers on public transport and in their local community, increasing their independence and improving opportunities. This approach also reduces the reliance upon Home to School Transport.

Travel Training is a life skill that benefits individuals in achieving independence throughout their lives; enabling them to engage fully in universal services as well as enjoy and achieve a wider range of activities during and post formal education.

Primarily, all pupils will be young people who have SEND who use Home to School Transport:

The contract will commence on 1st September 2020 and be for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further period up to, but not exceeding 2 years at the sole discretion of the Council.
