Description

Birmingham City Council (the Council) wishes to invite potential suppliers to submit tenders for the Provision of Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of Hand Held Power Tools.

The Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005 requires employers to assess and control the risks to the health and safety of their employees from vibration.
The Council requires a service for the inspection and maintenance of power tools in line with HSE guidance.

The contract will commence on 1st August 2017 for an initial term of 12 months with the option to extend for two further periods of 12 months each, subject to continuing requirements and the satisfactory performance of the contractor.

The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
