Description

Milton Keynes Council(MKC) is refreshing IT Infrastructure hardware that is at End of Life. The hardware includes; a VMware vSphere Virtual Server environment and a VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop environment. MKC have been using vSphere for provision of its virtual server estate and has recently entered into an ELA with VMware to continue this provision. The VDI estate is delivered using VMware Horizon, this is also included in the recent ELA. VMware have been consulted on suitable hardware and have referred us to their Hardware Compatibility list.
