The purpose of this tender (RHC - 24) is for the installation and removal of Marquees, furniture and toilets to support up to 2500 people for the annual Founders Day event held at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. In addition, requires a Marquee to support a smaller scale event (300 people) known as the IP BBQ.

Scale of Requirement:
• That all such structural units are erected according to plan as issued by RHC staff;
• That all structural units are checked and certified as being safe for use by an accredited competent person before the setup is handed over to a member of RHC QM/FM staff;
• That all toilet facilities are checked and maintained by a competent person to ensure maximum availability of all necessary requirements during the period of hire.
• All structural units are to be fully erected and secured against adverse weather conditions and handed over to RHC staff on the day prior to the Governor's Review (which takes place on the Tuesday prior to FD).
• All toilet units are to be fully located, secured and functioning correctly and handed over to RHC staff by 1200hrs on the day prior to the Governor's Review (which takes place on the Tuesday prior to FD).
• That a sufficient quantity of round tables and folding chairs be provided within the confines of the structures and on the South Terrace to accommodate 2,200 persons seated;
­ Tables are to be provided with wipeable formica style tops (or provide tablecloths), or outdoor picnic type tables.
­ Tables in the open are to be provided with parasols as protection from exposure to the sun;
­ Table loading is to be restricted to a maximum of 10 persons;
­ Chairs to allow the seating of 2,200 people.
­ Tables and chairs are to be supplied, erected and laid out within the enclosed area by the Tuesday prior to FD.
• The structural units, toilets, tables, chairs and parasols as supplied are to be disassembled and removed from site after FD, as agreed with the RHC.
