Description

The Royal Parks (TRP) is looking to appoint a contractor to demolish buildings within The Regent's Park Store Yard. The Regent's Park Store Yard is located North of Chester Road between the Inner Circle and The Broad Walk, with St John's Lodge Gardens and parkland to the north. To enable work on the garden to begin TRP needs to demolish all the redundant glass houses and ancillary buildings in the Store Yard, The purpose of the project is to: •Demolish the three redundant glasshouses in the plant nursery yard, the GMC accommodation, and the fuel store, the FM contractor's mess store, and part of the Boiler House to enable work to commence on the new garden. •Relocate a water tank and pump, the plant setting out area, and the polytunnel currently used by Capel Manor. •Include enabling works for temporary accommodation for the GM Contractor and the FM Contractor, however, the supply and installation of the temporary accommodation is outside the scope of this contract. •Recycle and to reuse as much as possible of the non-contaminated site won material for the new garden and to recycle the rest in line with the London Plan 2021. •Impact minimally on existing ecology, and adhere to guidance provided as set out within the tree protection plan
