Description

NHSE is seeking a provider(s) to deliver skill-building workshops to enable community researchers to develop relationships with strategic stakeholders so that they can advocate for their communities and the outcomes of their research. The provider(s) will also support in developing those partnerships.

The deliverables for this are:

1. To deliver a programme of workshops to develop the knowledge and skills of 31 community researchers in communicating and building relationships with strategic stakeholders.

2. The workshops will address the needs of the community researchers and their host organisations, incorporating an iterative and collaborative approach to learning. The learning environment will be a safe space for learning, acting as a sound board and where community researchers can build confidence in communicating and advocating for their work.

3. Provide organisation templates and tools for community researchers to use to action plan and further develop actions to take their work forward.

4. To support the CPAR programme in an advisory capacity in areas such as recruitment of researchers, attending Oversight or Steering Group meetings and work with commissioned training and mentoring delivery partners (Scottish Community Development Centre and the University of Reading).

5.Engage in evaluation of the programme.
