Description

Ipswich Borough Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to produce and implement a high quality design proposal for a multi storey car park at Portman Road, Ipswich. The procurement will be via a design and build contract.

The Council is seeking innovative, exemplar and practical designs for this important location (near to the Ipswich Railway Station and Ipswich Town Football Club), ensuring that the external aesthetic is both challenging and modern.

The Council's preference is to build on a vertical circulation format with an open plan design and minimal columns obstructing the parking bays.
