Description

The LLA website (london-luton.co.uk) was developed in 2015 using Kentico CMS (version 8) alongside a re-brand of the airport. Since then, it has been maintained, updated and hosted by the incumbent in accordance with our evolving needs where possible. The platform has been updated to Kentico 12 through incremental updates and is now approaching end-of-life. Its limitations are also presenting ever-growing challenges to performance. LLA therefore now requires a replacement CMS built with modern technology and a headless approach. This is in addition to a separate tender/requirements for the website development, maintenance and hosting (our reference L23086-T-MC) which is being tendered concurrently.

This tender requirement is for the supplier to provide an integrated CMS system which allows users to create, manage and modify content in one platform to deliver a seamless, multi-channel experience to the user across all digital channels and devices including website, wayfinding kiosks, social media and future initiatives such as progressive web apps without the need for specialised technical knowledge.

The system will conform to MACH (Microservices, API-First, Cloud-Native, and Headless CMS system) principles. See tender documents for full requirement details
