Description

The Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to support the building of a new cemetery extension, associated car parking, welfare facilities and refurbishment of existing facilities at Shire Lodge cemetery, Rockingham Road, Corby.

The Council has recently secured planning approval and the Specification provided , may have to change to align with the available budget and conditions associated with the planning approval. However, it is envisaged that the creation of a lawned cemetery extension will involve the following works:
1. 680m of access road and associated drainage;
2. 1100m of paths;
3. New designated car park;
4. New staff welfare facilities;
5. Perimeter fencing and gates;
6. Provision of new services and utility protection and or diversions;
7. Associated landscaping and signage; and
8. Refurbishment of existing facilities.

Due to the quantity and size of these documents, it has not been possible to embed them within the Specification.
