Description

The In-Cell programme is a key policy-driven HMPPS initiative in both reducing reoffending and enabling Officer to spend more time on their value-added work of reducing violence and delivering safety.
The scope of the technology enabled change spans: simple, everyday tasks for themselves, such as informing the kitchen manager about their meal choices for the coming weeks, and vastly reduces the administrative burden placed on prison staff. Also providing connection with families by monitored secure e-mail.
