Description

The London Borough of Newham is committed to supporting domestic abuse survivors of all genders and cultural identities. The Public Health Team are therefore procuring domestic abuse community services to offer advocacy, IDVA services and specialist support to those who reside and work in the borough age 16+.

It is our expectation that the provider of the commissioned service will be a key contributor to achieving our strategic goals: leading by their expertise, passing on their knowledge, skills, and values, and their ambition, to make a real difference to improving the safety and welfare of survivors in Newham. We expect the service to provide a consistent and sustainable response to Domestic Abuse across the borough and in partnership with local services.

The contract will have a fixed price for a core work package, of £595,000 per annum (£4,165,000 over 7 years) and the option to activate a series of additional work packages, with a combined maximum annual contract value of £448,000 (£3,136,000 over 7 years).

The value of each work package is indicative and may fluctuate throughout the lifetime of the contract. This depends on the funding availability. The funding may increase up to £5 million during the total contract lifetime
