Description
The Secretary of State for Defence (the "Authority") intends to enter into a Contract with Brüel & Kjær for the provision of a calibration, repairs and spares service to the UK MOD owned Engine Vibration Test Kits in support to the Puma Platform. The contract has an estimated value of £30K inclusive of VAT and a duration less than two years.
It is considered that this Contract can be placed as Single Source in accordance with Regulation 16 (1)(a)(io) Technical Reasons or Exclusive Rights, due to the supplier being the design organisation for the UK MOD owned equipment and holding exclusive access to unique sources required to support the equipment.
