Description
Midland Heart is looking to appoint a supplier who can provide a range of call off recruitment services primarily DBS checking, but with the future potential for identity checking, right to work and referencing checks as a future consideration.
Our spend on DBS checking across all checks was £42,000 for the year ending 2016.
In addition to 320 DBS checks for new starters we also undertake approximately 450 DBS renewals per year as part of a three-year cyclical check for existing colleagues.
As a minimum we are looking for
• Full online DBS checking capability across the range of checks available for up to 10 colleagues to access and use
• Speed of checking turnaround whilst ensuring accuracy and safeguarding
• Evidence of efficient turnaround of applications and results (aside from the time checks take with the DBS public body).
• Evidence of progression and chasing outstanding applications with the DBS body
• Excellent proven candidate and client experience
• Ensuring Midland Heart is aware of changing legislation / checking procedures
• Provide robust challenge on the roles being requested for checking by Midland Heart colleagues
• Ideas of how best to manage the cyclical renewals process ensuring resilience and lean processes
• Excellent data management and DPA resilient online systems and processes for the client and supplier.
• Excellent KPI and tracking data on checks undertaken and outstanding
• Excellent management information reporting of key trends
• Evidence of partnership working with clients
• Ability to integrate with existing HR database (ResourceLink) and or third party recruitment software where possible
• Capacity and capability to extend beyond just DBS checking into other areas of candidate checks such as identity, referencing and right to work.
