Description

The Department for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) runs an annual competitive grants programme for Local Authorities to bid for funding for projects to improve local air quality. DEFRA has awarded an air quality grant to East Sussex County Council (ESCC), which is acting on behalf of the Sussex Air Quality partnership, which includes all the Local Authorities in Sussex. The grant is to provide support to 25 businesses and 25 schools located in areas of poor air quality in Sussex to reduce their impact on local air quality. This RFQ covers the support programme to 25 businesses areas of poor air quality in Sussex.
