Description

NHS England has awarded Deaf Umbrella Ltd the contract to provide British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters for a hearing-impaired student in the Guy's & St. Thomas' area for the 2024/25 academic year. The interpreters will provide 1:1 communication support, as specified in the student's Education, Health, and Care Plan, during their placement in the Supported Internship Programme. This service will assist the student in communication, safety procedures, and task completion.
