Contracts for business waste and recycling services across the city. To include food waste and opportunities to maximise upcycling opportunities.
The contracts are open ended.
Individual contract with businesses will be issued based on a collective price.
The objectives of the contract are:
Provision of a simple and cost-effective solution to help businesses in Norfolk to increase their recycling and upcycling rate
A single preferred supplier could reduce the number of vehicles passing through the city centre
A shared procurement scheme should create economies of scale, resulting in significant cost savings for local businesses
Set up a measurement system to assess rates of recycling
