Description

The Bernicia Group is required to maintain and manage information on asbestos containing materials within Bernicia Homes own property portfolio and as managing agents to privately owned flats through Kingston Property Services. Bernicia are looking to put a Framework Contract in place for the Group to include, but not be restricted to the following: asbestos surveying / sampling, air monitoring, re-inspections and training services and non-licensed and licensed asbestos removal including remedial works.
The Framework Contract will be let as two separate lots -
Lot 1 - Management of asbestos services including asbestos surveying / sampling, air monitoring, re-inspections and training services.
Lot 2 - Non-licensed and licensed asbestos removal including remedial works.
While potential companies may submit bids for both lots, due to asbestos regulations, the same company cannot be awarded both lots. At tender stage, one company will be awarded per each lot. Applicants must be able to provide all of the asbestos services / works detailed in the specification for each lot.

Kingston Property Services which provides property and block management, estate services and facilities management to the private residential and commercial sectors. Kingston Property Services covers an area from Seahouses on the Northumberland coast to Haltwistle in Tynedale and down to Great Ayton in North Yorkshire and Redcar on the Cleveland coast and work for 200 Clients across 350 developments. These developments range in size from 4 to 173 apartments.
