Description

The aim of the tender is to deliver the Grimsby Festival of the Sea in Grimsby town centre in July 2023* (It is proposed to tender for 2023, with an extension clause for 2024 delivery)
• Vision for Festival of the Sea is to showcase Grimsby's relationship with the Sea with a particular focus on seafood
• To be a great family day out
• Deliver content which showcases local skills and talents
• Deliver a market selling food, drinks and crafts from primarily local providers
• Bring businesses, educational establishments, community groups, heritage experts, creative individuals and arts organisations together
• To encourage people and organisations to find creative ways to highlight Grimsby's seafood in an innovative and exciting way that appeals to both local and national audiences.
• To develop national and international links connecting Grimsby's creativity with other places
