Description

The aims and objectives are to develop and extend a spatially explicit, integrated, economic model of natural capital to cover a broad range of Defra Group interests, including flood risk management and land management change, as well as being adaptable to address broader interests, such as those of the Department for Health; and to develop an accessible user interface for that natural capital model (thereby turning it into a useable tool for Government and other practitioners).
The natural capital model and subsequent tool will help users to prioritise environmental interventions (as part of the development and implementation of the Government's 25 Year Environment Plan) by signposting those with greatest net benefits and value for money.
