Description

Objective The client's objective is to install a 250 kW solar PV array on the roof at Parrs Wood High School, Didsbury. In order to minimise impact, intrusive works will need to be planned around the building's current operational usage and users in advance of mobilisation. Modules installed shall comply with IEC61215 and have a 25 year minimum power warranty. Requirements · Installation will comply with Part 43 of the Installation of Non-domestic Microgeneration Equipment Class A of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Amendment) (England) Order 2012. · A performance rate guarantee of 80% minimum with a preference of 85% · Installation must be completed and operational during 2015. · Communication and management with the DNO in line with the current open application with Electricity North West have granted permission to connect a 250KWp system to the main school supply · The successful bidder will need to mobilise within 3 weeks of contract agreement & signing. · Preferred access to the roof will be from the front elevation to the school unless with prior agreement by the client · Unless agreed with the client prior to installation, cabling will be installed externally within secure and robust mechanically fixed M/E trunking (anti vandal, etc) · Installer is to demonstrate the proposed performance and output of the installation over a 25 year period
