Description

Manual vacuum aspiration (MVA) is a suction technique which utilises self-created vacuum to aspirate products of conception from the uterine cavity. Does not include Pharmacy items.
Each year a typical hospital spends tens of £millions on clinical consumables. The procurement and supply of these items is a vital component in treating a patient in the hospital environment. The contracting authority is seeking to appoint a supplier or multiple suppliers which can supply Manual Vacuum Aspiration consumables to any or all of the following - any NHS Trust-any other NHS entity and any government department agency or other statutory body. Full details of those contracting authorities who may be able to use the goods and services procured by the contracting authority will be set out in the contract notice. The contracting authority is seeking expressions of interest in writing from the market place in response to this PIN. All expression of interest are to be made via email to nawaz.habib@eoecph.nhs.uk . Following receipt of expression of interest, we shall organise meetings with interested parties to help inform our procurement strategy for this market area.
