Description

The University currently has approximately 3000 bedrooms in the halls of residence plus associated communal living areas across Manchester (2000) and Crewe (1000) split into three campuses:

All Saints
Birley
Crewe

The Halls of Residence Deep Clean contract is currently procured via the NWUPC framework and has historically been renewed on an annual basis. The existing contract consists of an annual deep clean and a conference changeover clean.

As part of the ongoing commercial activities, the University wishes to undertake a tender exercise for the provision of an annual Deep Clean Service to the Halls of Residence for study rooms, kitchens/lounges, shared shower and toilet facilities plus en-suite bathrooms. The University is looking to appoint contractors who are able to demonstrate an innovative approach to the cleaning requirements in order to achieve an efficient and cost effective service.

The new contract for the Halls of Residence Deep Clean 2016 will include:

1. Deep Cleaning
2. Conference/Summer Let Changeover Clean (as and when required)
3. Light Clean Storage Cupboard in Cambridge Halls of Residence
4. Carpet Cleaning (as and when required)
