Description

PQ0555 - Disposal of Indoor 200m Track

Birmingham City Council invited a quotation for Disposal of Indoor 200m Track no later than 12.00 noon 31st December 2024.

1. Introduction

The Council requires a supplier for the provision of the collection and disposal of an 200m indoor athletics track as sustainably as possible.

This contract will be for a period of 3 months commencing January 2025.

2. Requirements/Specification
The supplier will be required to collect the track, which is currently being stored at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham and dispose of it as sustainably as possible. As much of the track as possible to be recycled/reused.
Arrangements for access to the Utilita Arena to remove the track will need to be made with the Events Team.
The provider will need to hold a Waste Carriers License and the place of disposal/recycling will need to hold a site license.
The provider will be required to issue a Waste Transfer Note to the Council following disposal/recycling.

The Invitation to Quotation is being issued using the Council's e-tendering system In-tend and the remainder of the procurement process will be managed using the system. Therefore, all quotes must be submitted by Quotation providers via the In-tend system. https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc
