Description
Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking to commission an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to monitor digital telecare alarms 24/7/365 and to instigate an appropriate response. This specification is a framework with three lots: -Lot 1 Provision of monitoring telecare alarms 24/7/365. Main provision that is expected to be operational from start to end of the contract -Lot 2 Provision of outbound calling service (See section 17). May be instigated during the period of the contract by completing a mutually agreed Order Form -Lot 3 Provision of monitoring service for deviations in daily activity (See section 17). May be instigated during the period of the contract by completing a mutually agreed Order Form An exciting project is in progress where the Technology Enabled Care Service (TEC) is planning to provide Lifelines to improve the customer experience. The TEC service is provided by Cambridgeshire County Council who provide standalone telecare and additional peripherals for Lifelines. Currently there are numerous Lifeline providers in the Cambridgeshire area and this necessitates a customer interacting with two agencies to achieve a comprehensive telecare solution. The aims of the project are: -To simplify the service provision for new Lifeline Customers -To simplify the processes for the TEC Team -To prepare for the digital switchover and minimise risks for Customers -To make full use of the potential of using digital technology -To make greater use of activation histories to deliver responsive services -To enhance preventative outcomes of TEC The new service would cover the geographical area of Cambridgeshire; would work with all age groups; children, adults and older people and with all client groups; physical disability, mental health, learning disability, sensory impairment and multiple conditions.
