Description

The Client is the City of Wolverhampton Housing Company Limited trading as WV Living, a trading company wholly owned by Wolverhampton City Council.
The Client's is seeking a capital return on investment from the building and market sale of homes.
Delivery of good quality, cost effective housing is key to achieving the Client's aspirations.
The appointment for Architect's services will include:
• Architectural services for stages 0-3 of the RIBA stages.
• Progression of the scheme to full planning consent stage.
• Provide Pre- Construction Information to support composition of the tender for a builder. This information should include the development of the architectural element of the output specification in the form of Room Data sheets and narrative to support the specification.
• Undertake Principal Designer role for RIBA stages 0-3 and up to the appointment of a Contractor, at which point the Principal Designer role will transfer to the builder.
The Client requires architectural design services initially to planning application /reserved matters stage, RIBA stages 0-3, with a "watching brief" role anticipated from the end of Stage 3 through to Stage 6 to provide support and advice to the client. Should the Contractor wish to take on the Architect to complete their design WV Living will agree omit the watching brief from the scope.
Any resulting contract agreement for this requirement will be based on the RIBA Standard Agreement 2010 (2012 revision) including CDM Regulations April 2015: Addendum.
