Description

This contract is for the provision of care and support in supported living services, including domiciliary care to individuals with eligible needs. The Council currently provides direct care and support to 34 separate supported living properties through its in-house provider, County Durham Care & Support (CDCS) and a small number of external Providers. These properties can provide accommodation for a total of 124 service users. The Council has decided that this care and support service will be transferred to alternative provider(s) through a competitive tender process. Please note this Contract will be divided into separate Lots and interested parties may bid for a Lot, a combination of Lots or all Lots. The Council requires Providers to be able to provide Supported Living Services for the services users as per the specification within each individual Lot that they are bidding for.
