Description

Procurement of Mechanical and Electrical Services
Ealing Council is commencing a procurement exercise utilising the OJEU Competitive Procedure. The purpose is to award contracts for the provision of services identified in appendix A. The services have been split into lots, with contractors able to bid for individual and /or multiple lots. The ambition is for the new contractor(s) to commence providing services from April 2017. The contractual term is 5 years with a break clause after 3 years.

Contractors will be asked to price against specified assets for planned preventative task, call out charges and percentage adjustment relating to plant, materials and subcontract.
The Council's service administrative team will manage PPM schedules and reactive jobs from its CAFM system and contractors will use the council's CAFM system to manage jobs from start to finish including applications for payment. All performance management information will be produced from the council's CAFM system.

The council will retain an internal engineering team which will undertake works at the direction of the Building Services Manager. It is not expected that TUPE will apply to this exercise and Contractors will not have Council offices/depots allocated to them to provide these services.
