Description

Neighbourhood Learning In Deprived Communities (NLDC) - supports local Voluntary and other third sector organisations to develop their capacity to deliver learning opportunities for the residents of disadvantaged neighbourhoods.

The aim Community Learning and of NLDC is to commission and fund local voluntary and community sector organisations to;

• Deliver learning opportunities for residents of disadvantaged neighbourhoods that add value to the range and mix of provision available across the borough.
• Provide residents with the skills and knowledge they need to contribute to their local community.
• Demonstrate clear progression to other learning opportunities and/or employment
• Embed the necessary quality systems for sustainable development.
• Develop stronger communities
