Description

PHE has a warded a contract vis STA to The University of Leeds for Surveillance testing for C.Difficile infection.
The contract has been awarded to future develop the methods available to detect new and emerging strains that require new control measures, a comparison of whole genome sequence data must be made with our database of previously sequenced data that has PCR-ribotype results, to be able to predict C. difficile Ribotype from Whole Genome Sequence.
