Description
Provision and Repair of Mobility Scooters & Wheelchairs for the
Royal Hospital Chelsea
1. Statement of Requirement
The Royal Hospital Chelsea requires the provision & repair of mobility scooters and wheelchairs (Powered and manual), as necessary, as and when required. The requirement is to support in the region of 40 veteran soldiers who use mobility scooters to get around London and those in need of wheelchairs.
2. Scope of service
The following is a list of the services required.
• Weekly visit to the RHC ( Day to be agreed with the contract administrator)
• To repair mobility scooters and/or wheelchairs either on or off site.
• To transport mobility scooters and/or wheelchairs to your own workshop, if necessary, and return them to RHC when repaired.
• All repairs should be undertaken within 48 hours unless agreed otherwise.
• All repairs to be guaranteed
• All invoices to be paid by MasterCard with no transaction fees applied
• Provide new mobility scooters and/or wheelchairs when requested (These do not have to be the models detailed in the ITT document and can be any similar spec makes and models. Just detail them on the pricing page)
• Assist the infirmary team with the maintenance and supply of powered and manual wheelchairs and rollators
