Description

The Combined Authority (CA) is advertising a tender on behalf of West Yorkshire Police (WYP) for the provision of Police Sale of Goods. West Yorkshire Police are leading a procurement exercise on behalf of the Yorkshire & Humber Police Forces and are seeking tenders from suitably experienced companies to provide a flexible, reliable and successful service for items (also referred to as 'property', 'property other than found', 'evidence' 'goods' ' Police owned assets' and 'exhibits), to replace the existing provision. These are to be safely and securely removed from the Force property stores at various locations throughout the West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire Region in order to be sold at auction in a manner that would generate maximum income and /or require valuation. Due to the handling of police goods which can be high risk and high value a formal route to market has been decided upon. It is a condition of the contract that full security clearance Non-Police Personnel Vetting NPPV Level 1, is in place prior to award of the contract.
Further information can be obtained within the tender pack, bidders are encouraged to ensure they understand all aspects of the tender pack prior to submitting a bid. The proposed contract will be for 2 years with 2 x 12 months option/s to extend.
