Description
This is a pre-tender notification for expression of interest. Contractors will be selected from a list of those expressing an interest based upon experience and suitability. Tendering contractors must be experienced in the installation of Dart Valley anti-ligature systems. The works are the installation of a replacement sanitary ware including IPS systems in accordance with current HTM's & British Standards at the Radbourne Unit, Royal Derby Hospital site, Derby.
Based on the Royal Derby Hospital site, the Radbourne Unit is the Trust's main inpatient service for Derby and South Derbyshire residents with acute mental health needs. The Radbourne Unit consists of four adult acute inpatient wards called Ward 33, Ward 34, Ward 35 and Ward 36, an enhanced care ward (ECW), an OT hub, ECT suite, a mother and baby unit and supporting offices and education centre.
Works will be carried out in 'live ward' environments throughout the installation. No lone working is allowed in any areas and tendering contractors will have to demonstrate experience of working in similar mental health care environments.
