Justification For Non-Competitive Decision: It is considered this requirement can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Article 25(1)(a) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16(1)(a)(i) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011) due to the absence of suitable tenders in response to the previous restricted procedure reference 2019/S 146-360833. In respect of the previous restricted procedure, the UK Ministry of Defence received a single tender response and that tender was evaluated as being commercially non-compliant.
Optical instruments. Babcock DSG Limited, which is acting as the agent for the UK Ministry of Defence known as the Authority, is considering a Framework Agreement to Supply spares and associated items for the C2A2 Sight Unit.
