Description
The main purpose of this work is to get confidence in the current assumed average value for hydrogen hold up in the sludge of 15%. There is also a further need to understand the properties responsible for hydrogen hold up in different families of waste and how they manifest as 'observable' properties. A researcher at Leeds University has just completed the DISTINCTIVE collaboration project sponsored (of which SL is an industrial partner) PhD work on this topic and has the unique set of skills, experience and previous knowledge to carry out the defined scope of work on a post doc basis.
