New closing date - 16 March

Yesterday (18 February) an Accord was published by the Secretary of State, Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, to encourage the use of churches to help improve mobile & WiFi connectivity for rural communities, as part of Government's UK Digital Strategy and Industrial Strategy.

As a result, the closing date for Lot 4 has been changed from 23 February to 16 March.

The Accord was signed by the Church of England, DCMS and Defra

The purpose of the Accord is to show a commitment by the parties to support the use of church buildings and other property to improve broadband, mobile and WiFi connectivity for local communities.
What Church of England Central Services are looking for are suppliers able to work with parish churches, and engage with communities and with local businesses, to make the internet available in areas which need it, but don't have it. A lot of excellent companies have already expressed an interest. We would like more, and we would like you to respond to the tender.The Church of England Central Services Trading Limited (CHECST), are retendering their current Telecoms requirements and as such are looking for a supplier(s) to execute and deliver a Telecoms Solution that will enable flexible Telecommunication purchasing for the Church of England, managed through the Parish Buying service. The Framework will consist of Four (4) LOTS (See below).
