Description

Worcestershire County Council (the Council) is the Highway Authority for Worcestershire and as such is responsible for all adopted highways, (with the exception of Motorways and Trunk Roads) within the County. The Council's contractors (Ringway) carry out maintenance on the majority of the verges in the County; however some areas are maintained by third parties. In addition to standard verge regime there are a number of Roadside Verge Nature Reserves (RVNR) which are treated individually in respect of their requirements to suit the flora and fauna that they were designated for.

There are 2 Lots within this tender. Tenderers are able to bid for one or multiple Lots.

Lot 1: Roadside Verge Nature Reserves (RVNR).
Lot 2: Highways Verges Management Pilot Project in the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
