Description
Portsmouth City Council, on behalf of the 8 Hampshire NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Solent NHS Trust, would like to notify potential service providers of our intention to publish a tender for provision of services relating to section 136 of the Mental Health Act 1983 and secure transport for mental health patients under s135 of the Act and other secure mental health transport in March 2017.
We will be holding a market warming event in late February 2017 (details to be confirmed) which will detail the broad range of service provision, and provide an opportunity to contribute towards the service specification and network with other potential providers. There will also be an opportunity to question commissioners and representatives of the Trusts, Hampshire Constabulary and local authority Approved Mental Health Professionals.
