Description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is working for and on behalf of NHS South Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) to commission a Community Based Anticoagulation Stabilisation, Monitoring and Dosing Service for Non-Complex Patients. There is an expectation the provider will work with the existing provider of complex service to provide a seamless service for patients.The CCG is looking to secure one provider to deliver the service in community based locations within South TynesideThe revised service model will introduce an element of self-monitoring for appropriate patients, as well as increasing the emphasis on provision of domiciliary care.The contract will commence on 01 April 2018 for a term of 2 years with an option to extend for 1 year.The tender documentation will be available after 12 noon on 08 September 2017 until the tender deadline of 12 noon on 09 October 2017.
